Join us in celebrating 25 years of Faithful Service with Joel Cribb. Joel began his journey with Unison as a Houseparent at the Preston Street Group Home, where he worked closely with our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) clients. His dedication and compassion quickly became evident, and in 2001, he was promoted to Training Instructor/Employment Specialist with Supported Employment supporting both behavioral health and IDD clients in achieving meaningful employment. In 2008, Joel transitioned to our Coffee Community Support program, continuing his commitment to employment services for IDD clients.
His leadership and reliability led to his promotion in 2010 as Food Service Supervisor for our St. Illa programs, where he continues to serve today. In this role, Joel oversees meal planning and preparation for our Crisis Stabilization and Temporary Observation units, Residential Treatment, and Day Services programs. His work ensures that clients receive nutritious meals that support recovery, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety. He prepares meals for countless community meetings—always a highlight—and under his leadership, our food service reviews are consistently exceptional. Clients frequently praise the meals in program evaluations, and his contributions are often noted in quality reviews.
Joel’s commitment is evident in every aspect of his work. During a hurricane, he slept at the office to ensure he could be present to provide meals for our clients. We appreciate Joel’s early mornings, steady energy, and unwavering leadership and care. Thank you, Joel, for your dedication to your important role in helping us achieve our mission!💚
