
Join us in celebrating 10 years of Faithful Service with Shonda Miller. Shonda began her career with Unison in 2016 as a Behavioral Health Program Manager, Licensed, with our Intensive Case Management (ICM) team. In 2018, she was promoted to Residential Director of St. Illa, where she played a key role in expanding the program operations to include a Temporary Observation Unit.
In 2022, Shonda transitioned into the role of Director of Operations, leading our Quality Improvement Department and strengthening operational and quality measures across the agency. In 2025, her position transitioned to Chief Operating Officer, where she oversees Unison’s day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions, provides grant administration oversight, and offers additional support to the Behavioral Health team.
Shonda serves on Unison’s Senior Management Team, Quality Management Team, and Client Rights Committee, and represents Unison on the Georgia Association of Community Service Boards (GACSB) Data Analytics group.
Her commitment to the agency is evident in her thoughtful, strategic decision‑making. Shonda leads with steadiness, compassion, and a belief in the people and communities we serve. Her work is grounded in integrity and a genuine dedication to ensuring our mission is lived out in meaningful ways across all services. She consistently leads with purpose, supports staff growth, and strengthens the organization through her unwavering commitment.
