We are thrilled to recognize Brenda Hill, a dedicated member of the Unison Behavioral Health team who has been serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for 8 years. Brenda was recently honored by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) for her outstanding work as a Direct Support Professional, and we couldn’t be more proud! 💙
When asked what inspired her to enter the field, Brenda shared:
💬 “Growing up with a family member with disabilities, I’ve always had the desire to assist them as they work towards being independent, reaching goals, and feeling included in the community.”
On what it means to be a DSP, Brenda says:
💬 “Being a DSP is very fulfilling since it helps build trust and allows me to help empower individuals to build meaningful relationships and live fulfilling lives.”
Her favorite quote that inspires her work:
✨ “Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.”
Congratulations, Brenda! We are so proud to have you on our team and grateful for the incredible impact you make every day.
