Join us in celebrating 5 years of Faithful Service with Crystal Kirkland Barber. Crystal started her career with Unison in 2020 as a Client Support Specialist II (CSS) at Bacon Co Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). In 2021, she was promoted to a Certified Medical Assistant for our IDD group homes in Bacon and Coffee counties. The Medical Assistant position was a new position for the agency, and she has been a wonderful addition to the group home staff. She is very knowledgeable about clients’ medical care and needs, and this has been beneficial with their medical appointments and works with all their medical providers. Crystal is also a graduate of the Unison Shine Leadership program. She goes beyond her job duties to help with planning trips and activities for the clients. Crystal is described as having a big personality and she is loved by the clients for all she does to enhance their lives.
