SAMHSA

The Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has awarded Unison Behavioral Health a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) grant of $3 million. Unison Behavioral Health (UBH) is the public safety net provider of mental health and substance use disorder services for the South Georgia counties of Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware. With this CMHC grant, UBH will restore and sustain access to behavioral health services which have been restricted during the COVID-19 pandemic for children and adults residing in these rural counties with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance and co-occurring disorders.
