Alison Smith is a dedicated educator and leader with over three decades of experience shaping the lives of students and supporting school communities. A proud native of Homerville, Georgia, Alison earned a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Georgia College & State University, followed by both a Master’s and a Specialist degree from Valdosta State University.

Over the course of 31 years in education, Alison served in various impactful roles, culminating in her position as Student Services Director for the Clinch County School System. Throughout her career, she was recognized for her commitment to student success, her collaborative leadership style, and her unwavering dedication to the betterment of public education.

Now retired, Alison continues to carry forward her passion for supporting young people and her community, and she is grateful to have been selected by her county to serve on the Board of Directors.
